-- Discuss one of your two questions and your initial thoughts with your group-mates...ask for their input, their responses to those questions, even if those thoughts are still developing and therefore include uncertainty.  Don't be a wet blanket...talk and debate. Discuss each question for 6-7 minutes, then transition to another person's question, and so on.

HW: AP style argumentative prompt...(30-40 minutes at home) Please type, if possible.
The Scarlet Letter has been taught in schools for a long time, some people -students and teachers, alike -  feel it has been too long.  Others still feel it has significant relevance for this era's students. Should The Scarlet Letter still occupy a space in the Junior AP curriculum or should it be replaced by another activity or quality novel? Write a one and half to two page argument to support/explain your position.
