Bellringer: Write your name, period, today's date and an inferential question (with the full quote) on a half sheet of paper. Put in plastic bin.

Activity 2: Work with a partner to answer all 12 AP-style questions following The Governor's Hall passage. For question 2, in addition to answering the questions, write down the theme of paragraph two (don't just identify the topic - make sure you are identifying a message or idea that transcends book)  

Tonight: Read chapter 14 and on a notecard or a piece of paper, write an inferential question for tomorrow's discussion.

Tomorrow we will discuss ch 12-14 and the AP passage.
